FIT and CARE GUIDE

• Prepare 2 bowls of water.
• One cold and one hot.
• Carefully place the mouthguard into the HOT water for 20 seconds.
• Remove with a slotted spoon and cool guard in the cold water bowl for 1-2 seconds.
• Now quickly begin the fitting process.
• Insert guard into mouth and ‘finger fit’ around upper teeth.
• DO NOT bite down yet.
• Remove from mouth and place into boiled water again for 5-10 seconds.
• Re-insert guard inside mouth, re-fit to upper teeth inside the already molded channel and create a vacuum by sucking out all the air from your mouth.
• Now press firmly with your tongue against the back of your upper teeth and bite gently to firmly secure the guard.
• Do this for about 10 seconds.
• Remove the guard and place in cold water for 1 minute.
• If necessary trim excess material, a little at a time with sharp scissors.
• Take great care not to damage the guard by cutting off too much.
• Placing the guard in hot water for longer than advised or too often will damage the product.
• The fitting procedure is now complete.
